Enjin Integrations: Nomination Pool Reward History Correction

We identified and corrected a calculation error in the Enjin Indexer affecting nomination-pool reward values displayed in Enjin Wallet and NFT.io.

Following the nomination-pools runtime v1060 update, the indexer incorrectly included pool commission in the reinvested reward amount, rather than subtracting it before calculating each member's share. This caused some historical per-era and accumulated reward values shown to users to differ from the actual amounts.

On-chain balances, staking payouts, claims, and transfers were not affected. This was a display-layer issue inside Enjin products such as Enjin Wallet and NFT.io only. Your actual staked ENJ and accumulated on-chain rewards were never changed.

Fixed

  • Corrected the per-era reward calculation to properly subtract commission before computing the member's reinvested share
  • Recalculated all affected historical pool and member rewards from on-chain pool-rate data
  • Rebuilt accumulated reward histories and validated corrected totals against on-chain state

Changed

  • Some users will see a different accumulated reward total than was previously displayed — most will see lower values, though some may see slightly higher values. Our review of 124 nomination pools found a median correction of approximately 9.6%. The exact change varies by pool, era, commission history, and individual staking activity.
  • This is a correction of historical reporting and does not represent a withdrawal, charge, slashing event, or any change to on-chain balances

No action is required. If you previously exported reward data for tax or accounting purposes, re-export it to get corrected figures. For questions or help reconciling previous exports, contact support@enjin.io.

We apologize for the confusion caused by the incorrect reporting and thank the community member who flagged the discrepancy.
